at the center of the largest consolidated rail system in the nation,

Charlotte has also emerged as the number one tourist destination in
North Carolina, welcoming nearly 10 million
visitors each year. This is likely due to Charlotte's warm climate,
fine dining, array of cultural events, facilities, as well as major
league sports offerings, including the NFL Panthers, the NBA Bobcats,
PGA tour events, and, of course, NASCAR. Additionally, there are more
than 100 golf courses, 15,000 acres of parks and two major lakes to
enjoy. The beautiful Smoky Mountains and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway
are both only two hours away, and the Carolina beaches along the coast
of the Atlantic Ocean are only about three hours away.
Beyond being a wonderful place to visit and engage in commerce, Charlotte
is a popular and comfortable place in which to live. Look for real estate
